Bank of England Museum (The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street), London This Museum is housed within the bank and tracks back the bank’s history up to 1694. Displays include gold bars date from ancient times, bank notes, history includes a mob attack on bank during the golden riots in 1780 and interactive display to see how bank notes are created.
